Alexandra Maria Lara has been an Romanian/German film and television actress for over a decade. Alexandra is famous for her parts on Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra was the only child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. at the age of 16, she had already landed several television roles, which included the leading role in the film Downfall Youth without Youth Control. After her critically acclaimed role in the TV movie Der Tunnel, Alexandra went on to play other noteworthy characters like Adolf Hitler's secretary, Traudljunge, in Downfall. This film received nominations for an Oscar and received critical and commercial popularity. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are also Oscar nominated films that feature models. Alexandra's work has led her to work on a number of significant national and international productions. One of these is the British biographical film Control, the Greek drama movie The Dust of Time, and French historic miniseries Napoleon. In addition, she was a member of the jury at the Cannes Film Festival and the Transylvania International Film Festival.
